There is a black one on ebay right now. I wonder how much it will go for?

The nylon straps on the pockets sort of have an AP flavor to them. Must be some hella sweet leather on there for $525!

Dan, what size did you get? Don't they fit smaller. I normally wear Medium to Large and I tried on the Large one and it's just tight.

Cal, I got a large jacket. It's just about right if I don't want to wear anything bulky underneath. I wasn't able to try the XL on so I kept my fingers crossed with just going with the norm (the L).

I like that the graphics are somewhat subdued. Noticeable enough to make it unique, but not enough to take anything away from the leather.

I love the quality on most oakley products but looking from the pics i can't get the price point on this one.. and i was really looking forward to it. can anyone tell me how heavy a leather it is? it looks paper-thin on every picture i've seen on it. for that knida price, cost shouldn't be cut that bad.

it's not, say... Motocycle grade leather like on Schott or Vanson jackets, but it does seem to be thicker/tougher than other fashion grade leather.

Yeah I'd say bong is right. It's a thicker leather and the jacket as a whole is fairly heavy in weight. But I wouldn't say it's really thick. It's not as supple as some other leather jackets either. It's a little stiffer. I think the characteristics of it as a whole make it unique and the "Salvage" name is appropriate.
