It's matte, just the strong lighting from the window made it appear shiney.

I have a brief tutorial in this thread:

http://www.o-review.com/forum_detail.asp?ID=7761

basically the photoshop end of things. For the actual picture taking, I use a large roll of white paper, and set my camera to overexpose a little, so the white floods the view a bit. That helps later on. I also recalibrate the white balance using the white paper so it's perfect, but the preset ones should do find as long as you match the light source correctly (tungsten vs fluorescent vs natural sunlight)

Nice! Are there any others that you have thought about having as your 150th pair? I really like that box, I wish that they still did that for the newer ones.

It just sort of happened this way, didn't really have any plans. In fact, I'm suppose to not be browsing ebay, but I couldn't resist and I saw these for $140 BIN.

That's an insanely good deal! I think you mentioned that your goal for this year is to reach 200, looking forward to see what comes your way then. Hopefully you'll be allowed to go on ebay for that....it doesn't matter, you went to look this time anyway. :-)

Ladies and Gentlemen, may we present for your viewing pleasure the elusive O-Review Century Club Monster Dog!

Notice it's shiny Cinder Red coat, and how initmidating its Ti Clear eyes are as it gets ready to stalk it's prey...the sluggish, mangy Ray-Ban.

In all seriousness, yes, this is our offical induction into the Century Club. All rights that may have been reserved by Dann & Rick on their release have been cleared through the patent and trademark offices prior to purchase. It's been a long, grueling 3 weeks since we clicked "confirm order" and many a pair have been purchased since then. But this is our true 100th pair.

We'd like to especially thank Dann and Rick for graciously allowing us to follow in their footsteps and add an "offical" Century Club pair to our collection. It's both a milestone and a humbling reminder of those who came before us.

Of course this moment wouldn't be possible without help from several members like Josh, Bill and Ken amongst countless others who are always there willing to trek out for a pair, or send us a link to an eBay auction - we are grateful to all of you.

Congrats, it's a nice milestone to hit. Glad the OCE didn't take too long to arrive, but three weeks is a bit much.

Glad to see you made it. I really should have made the "Century Club" pair at my milestone, but the timing of the + Red MD and the whole story behind how they came about really made that pair the special one. It is such a nice feeling, and I am always glad to help. Great members and a great collection...Congrats!
