Hi all, sorry if this has been asked before but im at work and dont have time to search the threads, but 2 friends from work are flying to NYC for a shopping trip on Thursday this week..I have ok'd it with them to pick up some bits and pieces for me, a pair of crosshairs included ..but have a couple of questions ....

$130 on oakley.com does this include taxes??
Where is the best place to get them from (from central manhattan?)??
And is there going to be a gradient pair of crosshairs come out (or are they out already??)

Sales tax in NYC is 8 5/8% so you would have to add that to the cost. Macys at hearld square (34th st and Broadway) is listed as an OPD they have a decent set up last time i was there they had a double case and 2 single cases filled with oakleys

honestly if you can avoid it your much better off not buying it in the city, between the super high sales tax and ability to only buy what's in stock... i would just use internet sources.

i agree, NYC sales tax is quite high at 8.625%. and James, the prices on oakley.com does not reflect sales tax, it is added on top of those prices.

that said, i believe Paragon Sports has the largest Oakley selection in the city. their store is near Union Square on the corner of 18th Street and Broadway.

At least you guys dont have to pay a 15% tax on TOP of a Canadian price !

And yeah, there is a gradient crosshair already out. It's black -> clear titanium lens on black frame.

I'm pretty sure the gradient crosshair runs the same as the other iridium styles, $130.

Correct, gradient lenses run the same as Black Iridium. The DB should have all the prices up to date.
