You'll have to duke it out, figuring which came first, boxy O or rounded O.

The reason I asked is that these are listed as 0.1 in the catalogue:

See the odd lens shape...????

They're both 0.1. Just another odd generational thing.

Phil-
Are the ones pictured in the catalouge .1p since both the .2p and .3p have the same odd lens shape??

No there was only a 0.1, no 0.1p. They just changed the lenses somewhere in production. If you look at them all they all seem to have the lenses modified at one point.

Hey Robert,
The pic in the glasses section is most likely the 2nd gen Zero 0.1
The one on ebay is the earlyer, smaller rounded lensed 1st gen 0.1
They never made a 0.1p......just the 0.2p and 0.3p.

OK, The odd shaped one is the one I picked up at the Tent Sale. It does have the "O" on the earstem instead of the "OAKLEY" like the .1 I have with a complete circle.

Once Again Phil thanks for the help...

What a find! I can't believe you were still able to get something like that from the PL sale! I am currently a deep shade of green with envy! Can you describe the scene there in detail so we can all get a visual?

I went back & forth in the catalogue & these have subtle differences from the 0.2's in there. Notice that it seems to have a much thinner frosted "frame" & there doesn't seem to be a cut-out section at the bottom which leads me to believe that someone would have quite a challenge collecting all variations of the Zero.

Yeah, they did change the shapes of most of the Zeros,so it would be tough to collect them all.
