They are Sub Zero #4 Robert.
The picture is a bit dark, but you can see that they have regular earstems, and not the Zero extended hammerfangs.
Nice buy man.

yea they do, i had the same exact style/color..... they are super light too and they give you really good coverage from light sneaking in from odd angles.

Exactly how do you distinguish the hammerfangs?

Fangs are pointier & extend past the Unobtianium.
Oh by the way, Robert beat my bid on these by 19 cents!!!

Fangs are the bit that would extend past this unobtainium if this were a Zero 0.6.

As you see here on the Sub Zero, they just end and the stems are really short.

Thanks for the info guys...you are Oakley Encyclopedia.

Can anybody tell me what are the rarest of the Zero and Sub Zero family?

#1 Sub Zeros are pretty rare these days, especially mint-in-box ones.
I would say the rarest Zeros are the 0.2p and 0.3p.

Also with the Sub Zero and Zero 0.6, the 0.6 has more of a natural curve on the outer edge of the lens and the Sub has more of an angular curve.

Where do the 2Ns and 2NTs fall in?

Seems like LEE, PHIL and DANN are the ZERO / SUBZERO experts on this site (hope I did not offend anyone) Thanks again guys for the help.

The Sub Zero 2n and 3n were similar in design to the #1 and #2 versions that had an opaque lensframe, with inset iridium lenses.
The rest of the sub zero range had the iridium finish over the entire lensframe.
The N2T used the same iridium finish lensframe, but had a etched line design in the middle of the lens that looked like a large X.

Are the N and NT versions rares than the normal #2 & #3?

The N2T lens was used on both the Sub Zeros and the same lens was used on the 0.6 also. They didn;t use the 0.6 lens with teh line pattern added to it. I'm not sure how rare it is or which is more rare. I'm not sure out of both the 1-3 (full frame lens) or 1N-3N (circular lensed) to which are more rare. Perhaps the 1-3 being the originals.

I am starting to think the Zero / SubZero question is much more in deep than what is even listed in the catalouge....

I really wish Oakley had a HISTORY portion to their website. I am sure they would have to hire you guys to develop it....

Definitely is. It's also when oakley switched from the original logo to the first version of the boxxy O stretch logo then to the stretch logo as of a year or so ago before the neswest we have now. So you can get a Sub with any one of 3 logos on the earstem.

I'll take Ginger Peach, no sugar, no cream.

You know Lee, if it was easy to get together with our collections and print material we could really set up something kick ass on Zero history.
