I can understand the Riddle styles appeal, as it is does have increased peripheral vision so one does not have to where goggles when on the slopes but, the Gascan just does not appeal, especially in 'polished root beer' style and that almost square logo...frankly poor.

However, even with these new makes one should not worry so much about the eyewear department but on the ever decreasing availabilty of items meant for use in apparel; as the amount of mountain biking equipment in most stores is tiny.

My concern/fear is that the new bold/square "O" will make it that much easier for people to imitate.....more "foakleys" for the uninformed....

I know negative comments should not be given, but the concern of the fakes I completley agree upon. Once again apoligies for the harshness...but the style is just not for me...I hope that does not make me an outsider for not liking one new pair of eyewear.

It doesn't make you an outsider. In fact, I think negative comments (though not trollish comments) are encouraged. If it sucks monkey nuts, then say it sucks monkey nuts. If you don't step on someone else's opinion, I don't see why they should step on yours.

Nik, i would wear the Gascans if i could, but i physically can't. instead of the frames sitting on my nose, they fall right on my cheeks, it looks totally silly to wear them. so far the XX is the only O-Matter frames that would remotely fit my face... if i could only get a pair of Asian fit nosebombs for them.

Just received first shipment of Riddle today and they are so much cooler than Gascans. The best frame is the Ash w Grey Polarized. The others look just ok. I'll still get a Gascan but I'll wear the Riddle more.

For me, Gascan looks too much like a Spy. Riddle is ridiculously large (think Dartboard L) but the jet black/G30 looks good on my hot friend Tanya so I'm getting her a pair.

I think the Bottlecap is a great idea- the only problem I have selling HJs is that some people don't like how the stems stick out- the flat sides on the Bottlecap are perfect for them.
