Can anyone please tell me if the lenses for the Minute Gen 1 are the same for the Minute Gen 2?

Gen 2 is the same as gen 1 the only difference is gen 2 has the metal icon

Yep they fit. The only issue you’d run into is if you have any FMJ frames. Lenses for those tend to be a tad smaller to avoid chipping the FMJ coating when replacing them.

I was lucky to pick up these from a local charity store recently.



The lenses on both pairs are knackered. The Tangerine is somewhat worn on the nose, but the FMJ frame is in excellent nick. And all for less than a fiver.

Good deal there. VR28BI is one of my favorite lenses. If you can find some Fives Squared VR28BI you can cut them for that tangerine minute.

I just happened to have a new pair of 2.0 lenses lying around, so I spent half an hour mucking about with my Dremel and this is the result.
