There are a couple of decent AML companies, unfortunately none of them make shields as far as I am aware. All the AML shields that are available at present are at best Z80.3 and are usually TAC, not polycarbonate. I would personally recommend Fuse Optics, but they only make full orbital dual lenses and consistently respond to my inquiries that they have no plans to make half or shield lenses.
Your best bet from what I have read would be Revant as they make polycarbonate shields but only up to Z80.3. I have never tried them and have no immediate plans to. Walleva & Maven are all TAC lenses so, yeah ... no.
Unless someone else can toss in a better recommendation, I would suggest looking up on all the AML companies that make shields, research each one for materials quality & price, and narrow it down to one or two of them and then take a chance on one. When I first looked into AMLs, there were seven companies readily available for what I was looking for and that's how I found Fuse. But I also wasn't into M Frames so your experience would be different.
I'd also point out that M Frames have been around since biblical times and Oakley tends to make lenses for many disco'd frames for awhile after they pull the line. You might then just want to watch & wait for an M Frame lens to pop up every now and then. That does tend to happen and it can be worth the wait. - skull.jacket
Thanks for the info Steve!
