Are the Square Wire 2.0 lenses all the same or are they different if you have the Spring Hinge version? Thanks all!

Actually I tried putting G30 nonSH into my SH pair and they wouldn't fit. Tried for an hour and the frame tolerance seemed just too small

From experience, +red lenses from SH most certainly fit into non-SH frames.

I was doing the opposite, so maybe it's more favorable going from SH to non

I am resurrecting this thread because it fits in with my question.
On the Database I note the entry for - Square Wire 2.0 30mm, can any body explain these seemly mythical glasses. I have measured my square wires and they are 30mm, spring and non spring , the pics provided look normal so I'm a bit stuck !!!

I leave you to watch the video in the following link:

1) it's a great video to watch
2) Dann touches on the 30mm at slight before the 5 minute mark
3) the 30mm is a tad higher in height than the regular SqW.

Yep, they are much more difficult to grab that your normal SqW but they do show up every so often. As with collecting anything, the name of the game is patience and the ability to pounce with the opportunity presents itself.

Not the best image but the 30mm are the pair at the back on the right (all the other pairs there are standard Square Wire 2.0).

Oh wow... that photo was from years ago. I can't even snap a quick pic right now as those Square Wire 2.0 30mm is in storage at my parents' house.

The lens orbitals on the 30mm are noticeably taller, giving a more squarish shape (which I prefer) whereas the regular SqW2.0 were really rectangular. As far as I know, the 30mm were never released with spring hinges.
