Hey Chris, will Oakley ever go up to +7 in prescription. If other brands do, why not Oakley. I can only get frames but no lenses from Oakley.

I know they just increased the range quite a bit. Not sure by how much. I'll see if I can fund the video.

The range is very good as it is, currently we can glaze from +2 to -7 in some styles! I'm mega excited for the Oakley Edge technology which is coming in September/October 2014 - it will make unfortunate short sighted people (like myself) have the ability to purchase a pair of Fast Jackets in Rx when previously they have never had the chance to!

Due to the beautifully wrapped nature of our frames, the surfacing required for this sort of prescription will be extreme, and it will mean that the lenses will be extremely heavy and, well, thick.

In the future I am holding out for a spectacularly impressive Oakley True Digital product!! (no pun intended, trust me!!!)

So I can understand you cant get sunglass lenses in prescription due to the curvature but surely the RX normal glasses can be Oakley to +7. If Specsavers can do it (very thin up to 0.67) then surely the best lens maker in the world can! Pretty dissapointed if I have to keep getting specsaver lenses in my oakley RX's! But at least they're cheap lol!
