Gearbox Automatic
The inspiration behind this Oakley timepiece is the engine of industry that forged civilization. All that mechanical beauty is refined into Gearbox Automatic, a limited edition with definitive styling.

The accenting bronze bezel will take on its own character by forming a natural patina over time, achieving a finish that echoes the finds of antiquity. This self-winding timepiece features the uncompromising precision of Swiss Made, 25-jewel movement (Swiss made auto-mechanical, ETA 2824-2).

The back of the titanium and bronze chassis bears a sapphire window for viewing the integrated mechanics, and a screw-down crown maintains resistance to water pressure equivalent to a depth of 330 feet (100m). This rare Oakley instrument optimizes comfort with an Unobtainium rubber strap matched with a titanium buckle.

- Price: $1895 US / $1950 CAN
- Limited Edition: Only 300 total units produced (initial allocation to about 61 stores)
- Unique: a watch designed to change its appearance based on its owner

NATURAL PATINA OF THE BEZEL
Oakley timepiece designs are an expression of originality. Gearbox Automatic carries that authenticity further with a bronze bezel that forms a natural patina over time, a finish that echoes the finds of antiquity. As the complexion of the bezel gradually changes, it takes on your individual personality by becoming a memoir of where life takes you. With its own rare aesthetics, this chronicle of experience will be unique - no two bezels will change in exactly the same way, and each will be a distinctive legacy of its individual wearer.

Well if you can get a replacement, maybe. I sent my 12 Gauge in for a new band outside of warranty, so you never know.

The leather bracelet was a test model that they put together yesterday. General opinion from those I heard was they the leather is preferable to rubber, but we also choose metal bracelets over anything else.

It wasn't that heavy...certainly not GMT heavy. Not bad, at all.
