Can someone post a pic, explain or both the difference between a black frame and a matte black frame in the original Straight Jacket? Trying to see the difference. Thanks!

Sorry, I took a quick look through the collections, but people only take pics of the Bengal or Leather options. Traditionally Black would be a flat or slightly jet Black. Matte would be a lot rougher.

I noticed there is not a part number listed for the black, are we sure these were 2 different releases? I havent ever seen a listing for a matte black SJ.

Ah, I see what you're saying. I'd figure it's a duplicate if there isn't a SKU filled in. Looking at the Eye Jacket, that only lists Black, and not Matte Black as well.

On an old order sheet I have -037 is listed as just black. Just trying to make sure Im not hunting something that doesnt exist as I try to complete the SJ group. I'm still a ways off but I am putting a dent in it.

Seems like in the past, "black" was the name used for what is now considered matte black. Jet black also seems to have been replaced by polished black.

There's also Flat Black too though, which while not Polished, wasn't really matte either.
