I have here a pair of trenchcoats that are clear dose any one know if these are a specal edition or somthing I got them from eBay they look and feel right the lenses I got in them were black iridium but I switched them for clear lensesand compaired to my other trenchcoats they match perfectly , down to the places they injected the plastic any imput Gould be great.

Has any one ever seen a pair of matte clear trenchcoat? I mean if there rare Id be willing to trade them to some one who wants them because I'd be too tempted to wear them pm me if u want more pics or are intrested ..

I haven't been aware of a clear Trenchcoat in the past. I see you have a few other TC releases. If you compare the Oakley text across the nose bridge, does the print and font size of the Oakley script match up? Not to claim outright that they aren't authentic, it's just not anything I was aware was out there, and clear fakes were somewhat common with the jacket line back in the day.

Hmm, they could also be a rep exclusive. Just like the straight jacket, from the SJ there has been a matte clear/ persimmon one...

You'd better not wear any tranchcoat at all. They are still a quite fragile model, so if you want to make sure they will not break, just don't wear them. But get some more modern models for use :-)
That's how I do too.

thats why i love the x metals i use a juliet as my every day glasses with my rx in it , they dubble as my safty glasses i work in a shop so i have to wear safty glasses , thats how i roll but i do wear the trenchcoat bloods because i scored like 4 left and 5 right arms off of ebay some one was selling like 20 of old stock so i jumped on them i also have back ups for all my other trenchcoat (except the clear and jungle camo) i even have a extra set for a pair of FMJ so im not worried about breaking the arms i have extra i was going to anounce this at a later date here to give any one peace of mind like i have so watch for it if any one needs a extra bow for the TC....

Definately not just a unpainted pair. There are only a few color that have a clear base, think of whiskey for example. Other translucent colors like rootbeer etc. are all colored in the mass. And the other have a solid material base color.

@Paul, yours has the OAKLEY branding front nose bridge, and your icons on each arm are painted white. Mine's totally unpainted, but everything down to the earsocks looks and feels just like the others I've got (FMJ, Jungle Camo, Snow Camo, Blood, Black Gold, Pearl).

@stanley Accualy the icons are silver like silver or Chrome leaf but ya, rock n roll they gota be worth somthing right lol probly more to me but since I don't have any spair arms for them I can't ever wear them imagen dropping those in the snow lol lose them in a sec but thanx for the info
