Anyone else notice the Fast Jacket to be tight as far as the ear stems are concerned? I don't have a large head either - a lot of S/M hats are too big on me. :)

I can only imagine how you guys with the larger melons are feeling wearing these for any extended period? Do I have a one-off that's to tight or something?

I have a large head... l/xl hats are too small for me. i find the fast jackets to be very comfortable (although radars hurt after a while). maybe my head is skinny and long or you have a really tight pair?

I don't know - but upon further review/wear, I'm calling this model a fail...at least for me. They're basically a more expensive, less comfortable Flak Jacket with switchlock. I wore them on the bike today (kind of the market they were after with the idea along with triathlon and other "multi" sport athletes), and they're certainly not best suited for a road cyclist. The frame WAY impedes your view at the top, and the ear stems are even tighter over your helmet straps. That, and they "bounced" on the bridge of my nose when out of the saddle - definitely not a problem I have with Radars or Jawbones. To be honest, I only really like this pair for the G30 Polarized lenses. Not a good reason to hang on to them. Oh well, kind of why I bought them at SGH - 90 day return policy. I guess they can't all be winners....

Sorry to hear that the Fast Jackets didn't quite live up to expecations, but thank you for your input. Sounds like it's time to write a review if you haven't already done so.

Does anyone know if the temples on the fast jackets can be snapped off like flaks and halfs?

i was playing around with the fast jackets and find it not too user friendly... no matter how careful you are removing the lens, it will always scratch where it connects to the nose bridge and also the tip where is fastens to the locking mechanism... i like the jawbones and split jackets better
