Yes it's not welcome, and under normal circumstances this thread would be locked and or removed and I'm tempted to do so.
BUT, the images are a good reference for anyone considering a pair so it will remain for now.

Frankly if you aquire a pair and have no intention of keeping them, then there is the classifieds or ebay.
If you want to share the images then do so but any reference to your intentions with that pair is not welcome, and will likley result in the removal of any images or reference.

The O-review is not here to promote your sales and such! Scalping in any form is not Tolerated!

ok, i bought this from a oakley dealer (sport2000). he told me he was at this promotion party in usa and won this pit bull.
but i paid a lot of money for it. again: i don't get this for free! i don't like the color! i prefer matte white w/OO red, that's why i sale it.

Ok, I've been following this thread since the information about Sasha selling this on ebay has come to light. I understand that I am new to the forum, but I have to say I feel this is going a little overboard.

I understand that the idea of scalping on this site is totally forbidden and not tolerated. I hate the scalping also. However, no where in this thread do I see that Tag is trying in any way to use this forum to promote scalping.

He clearly states in the first post it was from a promotion. He did not state HE won it in the promotion, He also clearly states in his first post that it was a purchase for him. Just because it was a promotional piece does not mean he got it free. Many people win early releases and sell them to others, which he claims is how he received it.

Tag also does not use this site and link anyone to his ebay ad to sell it. I read the thread and all his posts and I don't see how he's using this site in any way to promote any scalping. Is he asking too much for it on ebay...I think so. However, to indicate or accuse him of using the OR site to promote his "scalping" is simply untrue from what I have read.

In my opinion, if he really spent a great deal on the pair to get it early, I can understand that. If he is trying to recoup his money because it's not his favorite colorway, I can also understand that. I have seen similar situations on the OR of members selling Flores 1 or 2 in which they are selling for 400-600 dollars. Is this scalping? Not in my opinion, because they most likely had to pay close to that or more to get those in the first place and have decided to sell for whatever reason. However, 400-600 is clearly higher than the original retail on those pieces.

I guess all I'm saying is something I've learned a long time ago in my line of work (police officer).....not everything is as it appears! Sorry to get on a rant, but I felt he was maybe being pushed around and we really don't know all the details.
