I received a Stealth Crankcase for Christmas, love the watch but I hate the Unob band. Does anyone know if there a way to get a black metal band or of a type of band that can be modified to fit it...I am disappointed in Oakley that they didn't make a stealth metal band version of this watch...

Crankcase is a nice-looking watch, and I agree that the metal band is preferrable. Hopefully you'll be able to find a replacement!

I don't have any helpful info on the options to get a metal band loaded on your Crankcase. But I also snagged the steal/red crankcase over the holidays. While I'm not a natural fan of the unob band, I have been pleasantly surprised with it. I love that it has the 'fancy' clasp that usually comes with metal bands. The cut-to-fit was pretty nifty too, making me feel like I had something fancier than the crankcase on hand.

Anyhow, just an opinion that might get in your head and migrate your hatred of the unob band to a little island of love.

Paul,
Don't get me wrong I love the watch. I have a TB & Tank, so I wanted to get a Crankcase as an everyday watch and I do wear it every day. I just wish that it was a metal band, I love the weight that the others give me, Crankcase just feels lighter on my wrist. But, you are right clasp is pretty cool. I am pretty active and only had it open twice. Once during a rough basketball game (should not had been wearing it) and once taking the kids out sledding. We were hitting 20mph and hit a nice ditch, went tumbling, it opened but nothing more. It seems like the watches are getting bigger and bigger..Gearbox & 12 gauge. I think the crankcase is perfect size, but when I run Oak I will promise stealth metal band on Crankcase.
