This is a great looking bag. Sturdy and durable, this makes a great every day laptop bag. The three pockets on the front add some much needed storage space, as there isn't much room on the inside if you're carrying a laptop. The straps on the ends are great for holding a water bottle and/or your laptop's power cord if it doesn't fit in the protective laptop sleeve along with your laptop. I love the shoulder strap.

Bad=ass bag that screams a lot of attitude! The inner separate notebook sleeve/bag don't contain metal materials and therefore TSA compliant giving protection to your notebook when they require you to take it out of your bag at airports.
The adaptable payload system is a plus. I own other AP pieces, bags, eyewear, mp3/cell phone pouches, so therefore I can do mix n match on the outer pouches depending on my needs. You can even add more pouches on the side straps of the bag or the back webbing if you really need the extra storage.
Oakley's AP system is technically the same as the military's molle system. If you own molle tactical pouches specific to its purpose, then you can do your own mix n match according to your preference.
The only drawback is there's no dedicated outer zippered pocket for your travel documents, paper tickets, or papers. This would come handy when you travel at airports without opening the main compartment. There is an outer pocket at the back with a zipper on the bottom. Main purpose is for attachment to a roller on luggage. If you don't use that function, then it's a great pocket for your documents. But some people like me would rather attach this big bag to my roller luggage at the airport. Even when you use the back pocket just for documents, there's a danger of loosing your documents in case you accidentally left the bottom zipper unzipped for whatever reason.
To solve this problem, again going back to the AP/molle system, I attached a flat vertical molle pouch designed for paper documents to the back webbing of the bag. The zippered document pouch is less than an inch thick and if you can find one of the same color to your bag it just look like it's still a part of the bag.

Fits my 17 inch Mac with not trouble. Inner sleeve that encases the laptop can be removed and used on its own complete with an inner pocket for a cable.

The 8 inner compartments are vast, padded and very versitle. There are two side sleeves (super imposed) against one wall, a keychain, a soft padded pocket, 3 pen/pencil loops, a zippered net pocket superimposed on another pocket. a padded velcro-flap pocket and on the adjacent wall 2 net pockets. They hold ...dics, mouse pads, mouse etc. The other 3 removable pockets I have used to contain a mouse, ipod, cables etc.

I agree with Tek Dragon with his point stating the desire to have a separate compartment for folders and papers etc. I adapt to this exclusion by putting papers/folders in the compartment housing the laptop.

The arm strap is very comfortable.

It is a larger bag and empty is heavier than your typical computer bag. The design is second to none and it will get noticed. It is tough and durable. I have put mine through hell and back and it shows no wear and tear.

When i bought my new laptop last year i had to get an Oakley bag for it and found this to be a great fit. The Storage for this bag is amazing... as with any Oakley Product they went with the whole MORE IS MORE thinking... MORE STORAGE! MORE PADDING! Everything was done correctly on this bag... I've used this bag exclusively for a few years now and have traveled extensively and have tried to beat the bag up and to no avail... it LOOKS BRAND NEW! That speaks to me of excellent craftsmanship! Oakley hit the nail on the head with this one.
