Frame: Rootbeer
Lens: Gold Iridium
Other than the rootbeer minutes with gold iridium lenses, these are the best glasses I've ever had. They have stood the test of time, a tour in Iraq and rough weather while sailing. I run in these everyday. I have several metal framed Oakley's but these are light enough for everything.

My favorite Oakleys to date. Mine were a strange configuration - I bought them on sale at the Oakley outlet, and they came with rootbeer frames, black iridium lenses and a gunmetal "O". Unless you have a tiny nose or face, the XLJ is the way to go - lenses cover much better. I lost these, and I still hope to find them in a moving box or a jacket pocket someday, because they were nice shades.

I think most people would be better off buying the Flak Jackets over these. The coverage on the Half Jackets is not that great. Light gets around the edges and causes reflections off the inside of the lens, especially with the black iridium. The only people I could see really benefiting from this style are people with smaller heads since I think these fit more securely than the Flak Jackets do. Other than that, I would recommend the Flaks for better coverage and the hydrophobic lenses.

Used these at work (for possible blood/body fluid splatter). Excellent comfort, very easy to interchange the lenses, if necessary. 'Upgraded' to Radars with a Clear lense for work, now I use them for garage and house projects for eye safety---nails, tools and debris WILL bounce off of them, lol.

Awesome glasses, they are very light and stay put on your face. easy to collect a bunch of different lenses for them. this is my second set, first was a golf array that has been handed over to the wife. Price point on the second set was MUCH better at less then half of what I paid for the first. Got them thru the standard issue program.
