For the training requirements of professional athletes, Oakley built a proprietary software engine in a durable casing of aramid fiber. At 87% the size of the D1, the D.5 packs one alarm and a countdown timer while storing 90 lap times and logging 45 runs. Both wristwatches feature a dual-time-zone readout, backlit by electro-luminescence for easy reading in any light condition. The LCD displays are adjustable to 10 contrast levels. An anti-reflective crystal seals each case against the pressure of 100-meter water submergence.

Definitely a girl's watch because of it's size. MSRP price is high compared to the product range of other manufacturers. This is now discontinued but can still be found in the O-Vault for $30-40.

A great option for the gf/wife! Give them a little something oakley to wear, without having to entertain the idea of a small icon watch (they don't seem to want a watch like that anyhow).

Nice watch but I probably wouldn't pay this much money for a digital watch again. I was attracted to the silver/fire colour which blended in nicely with Fire lenses. Unobtanium band was nice and grips nicely to your arm, and this watch has basically all the features of a Nike sports watch!
