TERRORISM -
Frame: Distressed Silver
Lens: Ice

Oakley recently introduced a new line of eyewear with a unique frame style: Jury. While the architecture of this pair incorporates metal and acrylic as well as newly-designed spring hinges, it falls a bit short.

Overall fit of this model is adequate, providing good coverage with minimal light leakage. Likewise, the spring hinges provide just enough flexibility to allow slight outward movement for "thicker" craniums. Some consumers, however, may not appreciate the "square" fit of this pair or the fact that the nosepiece - unlike any other ever incorporated by a previous Oakley sunglass - is comprised of "hard plastic". I cannot understand why Oakley didn't utilize something softer, such as unobtainium - especially considering the physical weight of the frames. This is the major fault with the glasses and could have easily been corrected.

A decent pair of shades overall, but with definite room for improvement.

Is there, available lense replacement for jury?

In two days of use, my opinion is that are very heavy and hurts my ears, i thought the O-luminion was more lighter, but the lenses are very big and the vision is perfect, very clear.

The O matter hinges are a unique feature that have a springy elastic function to grip the cranium if the unobtanium wasn't already enough. you can feel the squeeze sometimes but its never really enough for me to really care even with my large face. The nose support is also different from usual but it has unobtanium and it fits with the large lenses. Some reason the ice iridium coating can come off when cleaning. I only used the microbag lens cleaner that came with and it took off a spots worth of ice, about 2 weeks after I bought them. be careful when cleaning but otherwise awesome.

wasnt a big fan when i first saw them. eventually had to add them to the collection. glad i did. i like that they are heavier, they feel sturdy. fit is perfect.style is very subtle and clean. if oakley is listening....I would love to see a single lens/larger variant like they did with the fuelcell/batwolf
