Frame: Titanium
Lens: VR28 Polarized
My frame also had the arm fall off. All sorts of bother getting it warrantied as I bought from an Outlet store.

Not impressed, to be honest.

Frame: Titanium/ Titanium Pewter
Lens: Black Iridium Polarized/ Titanium/ VR28 Blue Iridium Polarized

Having owned non-titanium Square Wire frames it was such a relevation when I got my hands on a pair made from titanium. Weighing in at 18 grams they are light enough to wear all day without discomfort. I find the curvature of these frames to be perfect for my face and the adjustable nosepads and ear stems (as long as you're careful) and spring hinges mean that they fit me perfectly. I thought these were that good I ended up buying another three pairs.

Between the frame colors I prefer the Titanium over the Pewter. The Pewter also shows damage more readily - having dropped both frame colors, the lighter base colour of the frames in the Pewter shows through when the coating is scratched or chipped, unlike the Titanium color.

In the Titanium color, these are my all time favorite Oakley sunglasses.

As for the lens tints, I'll do separate reviews in the lenses section.

Frame: Dark
Lens: Ice Iridium Polarized

These were my 3rd pair of Oakleys ever. When I got these, I had a pair of Half Jacket XLJs and a pair of Romeo 2.0s. I wanted to get a pair of sunglasses to wear while walking between buildings at work. But they also had to look professional with a dress shirt and khakis. These fit the bill nicely. In hindsight, I probably didn't need to shell out the extra $50 for polarized lenses since I don't often drive with them. Then again, these are the only ones in my collection that really fit well when I'm wearing my full-faced Arai helmet. So they do have some benefit in filtering out reflected glare while I'm riding.

The spring hinge is really the killer feature on these sunglasses. They make them comfortable for heads of all sizes. Even my mutant-sized noggin is comfortable in these. The only real draw back is that, for their size, they really should feel a little lighter. If I were to redesign these, I'd probably make the embossed Icons and stretch logo (across the nosebridge) a contrasting color.

Frame: Silver
Lens: Fire
I got the Square Wires off the internet used, simply because I wanted a pair of wires. I think I only saved about $30 off the retail price and in retrospect, it wasn't really worth it. The fire lens, first off, has a green tint and makes everything look murky. Had it a different lens, I would probably like them more, and in fact I tried to switch G30, but they didn't fit. The frame is nice and sturdy, and the spring hinge is somewhat cool, but I ended up giving this pair away since I never wore them.

They should all have Oakley Square Wire on the arm. Also a # under the right ear sock. No # there not real !!! The # is for Frame color & lens combo. the # will look like 71-106G Some of them will have a sticker H with little water droplets it stands for Hydrophobic. I hope this will help you so you don't end up with fakes.
