GLiDE -
The trick to removal (besides being over a LARGE table top) is to slightly spread the clip with a small flathead screwdriver, just enough to get the screwdriver between the two frame nipples. Then spread the frame nipples with the screwdriver and it will spread the clip easily. The trick is to do it a little bit at a time until you can barely slide the clip off the nipples. You may have to rotate the clip to get it off without spreading the clip too far and snapping it in two.

Hope this helps.

I bought a used Mars and the guy sent me an extra clip. Looked real cheap. I think there should be a rubber washer in there somewhere. The metal on metal thing irks me.

Probably the cheapest thing you can buy from Oakley. I've had one snap, and wore it for a while before replacing. Taking them off however, is a bigger pain. Swapping lenses should be done once, and then left alone.
