The leather frame is the only reason for me to own a Mars. It is absolutely beautiful and absolutely ridiculous.

The fact that someone would think of wrapping an X-metal frame with leather and putting it on the market is simple awesome! There is no sense or purpose for it, but they did it because it was possible! It attracts a lot of attention and you will always get a conversation started with these babies

Be prepared for a range of reaction when wearing this frame. It is simply outlandish and makes utterly no sense. But, that's what makes it so cool. The leather must be used with care however, as it is prone to wear. A bold statement by the Oakley design team that is unlikely to be topped in the near and distant future.

The design incorporating leather says Oakley all over, rain and sweat are a big no-no with this frame.

They dont fit me, but when I had one, I really appreciated the attention to details and the good workmanship that went into making this beauty possible.

One of the weirdest frame type, but also highly desirable. My leather has gone downhill and is very dark, so you have to be careful where you wear it. Rain is a big no-no. Otherwise, another must have.
