The good thing is that they instantly put you in a good mood with the yellow dopish lens tint. Also they do enhance the contrast. And the weather looks a lot better than it really is.

But I'm missing an Iridium coating for the mirror effect. Everybody can see your eyes. In general I find it not dark enough when you look through it in bright sunlight. The yellow lens tint makes a very vibrant green of grass and bushes. But I find it a bit too distracting. Also a sunny blue sky gets yellow-greyish and most blue colors are not very good represented.

Have this in my Gold Crosshair 2.0. Gives the frame a very contemporary, classy look. Pretty good light transmission, but not my fav.

These are my favorite lenses. I have them in my half jackets and in my whisker wires. They're GREAT for providing contrast--especially on cloudy days. On sunny days, they keep things bright without you going blind. I love these! PERFECT lenses

I have bronze lens in my Hijinx Sunglass Hut edition. At first I really didnt like them, but I've come to respect them. Although they don't ENTIRELY hide your eyes, they are pretty close. I work as a lifeguuard and I can see the pool very easily in most any weather condition. They work well even when the sun is going down, i.e. they dont make things too dark.

I was very hesitant to buy bronze lenses in glasses. I wasn't a fan of brown tints to everything. After wearing them, they have become a favorite- under the right conditions. Bronze favors low light, ie overcast, dawn, dusk, etc. I wear them in the rain while driving and they make the world much easier to see. The increased contrast actually improves your vision. Even on bright days, due to increased light transmission, you will still squint, but your eyes will not be fatigued like the would be without protection.
