Frame: Matte Black
Lens: Warm Grey

I got these a couple of weeks ago (pre-release) and I've been wearing them for 2 weeks. For folks with higher cheekbones, these glasses, since the lenses are larger, will rest on your cheekbones. So folks who traditionally wear "Asian Fit" may have an issue. As with other "wire" frames, these frames do tend to bend easily, so a hard case is HIGHLY recommended. Also, the lack of unobtanium on the earstems concerns me. The Crosshairs and the other "aviators" in the wire line all have unobtanium which makes them feel more "Secure" to me when I have them on.

On of the design innovations in Plaintiff is the monoshock hinge. Originally appearing in some of the RX frames, the monoshock hinge provides for constant grip, but does not cause any pressure points. If you have problems with your glasses getting loose after you put them up on your head a bunch of times, the monoshock hinge is supposed to fix that for you, as well allowing the arms to flex outwards without putting pressure on the frame.

As for this color combo, it's excellent, understated color combo. There's a real 1980's vibe coming off these glasses and work nicely for both men and women who want a more "retro" oversize aviator look.

After two weeks, I can say that these are an excellent pair. I would rate these 4.5 out of 5 and not a full 5 of 5 because of the lack on unobtanium on the ear stems. However, still an excellent choice for those wanting a classic aviator.

Frame: Matte black/gold
Lens: Grey polarized

Tried these on when they first came out and they didn't fit at all. Lately I've been losing weight and I guess I lost some in my face because they fit better. The best part of these frames is the weight, extremely light. I can wear these all day with no problems. If they made a titanium version of these I don't think you would notice the difference as in other frames.

Absolutely love the look and feel of this pair. I have 10 plaintiffs now all together none standard all have been ocp ordered or lense swapped or lense cut by doc chop. I wear them a lot and always get tons of compliments on them.

Just got my pair of Infinite Hero Plaintiff's. These look phenominal and are super comfortable. Wish I had seen these sooner.

I like how Oakley released a new pair of aviator style sunglasses after they took the aviator look out of the Crosshair in the 2.0 version. Theses are really nice for driving they are so light that they almost feel like your not wearing anything at all. Unfortunately that is sometimes a bad thing. They do feel very fragile and I could see these getting broken really easily. Also I would not wear these out on the water because they seem like they could slip off very easily. Overall they are a great addition to the collection and are my new driving frame, but I still think the original Crosshair is the best aviator style frame.

Fantastic pair of sunglasses. The frame is very flexible but not to the point where its flimsy. Lens are of the utmost quality and do not create anny sort of visual ditortion. the frame is very stylish and the hinges are flexible without compromising the frame's strength. Overall These Oakleys are a superb pair of sunglasses. Ray-Ban may be respected for their 'time honoured eyeware' but I find these to block peripheral light coming from the sides much more then the others.

Classic cop shades. The Chrome on Chrome looks great. The lense itself is HUGE in comparison with others in the 'Wire' series, even next to a Crosshair. I agree with other members as they're is a fragility to them being a thinner make than many other frames so a hard shell case will come in handy.

Frame: black matte
Lens: warm grey

One of the most traditional aviator looking shades from oakley's line up.

Chose this over ray ban's very flimsy frames, and i don't regret it.

Very light and comfortable, yet sturdy. Though lower frame will hit your cheek bones and will raise the shades when you smile :)

This is my 5th pair of Oakley aviators. Compared to the Titanium Crosshair or the Warden, these feel much lighter. However, they feel much less substantial than those frames. Even the very light Ti Crosshair had a solid feel to it. This frame is disconcertingly chintzy feeling. The frame feels very plastic-y, which isn't helped by the lack of Unobtainium on the stems. The Monoshock hinge is great, and as I learned with my Transistor Rx frame, easy to replace.

Overall, the frame is a good casual wear frame, and will get regular rotation for that.

Stylish, super lightweight and great coverage. I switchoff with these and my frogskins (polished black frame, grey lens). I feel like I belong in the Top Gun movie wearing these =) The felons were too small..kinda funky looking. The crosshairs looked a bit funky on me as well..but these Plaintiffs are perfect.

I got these awesome glasses just today as soon as it became available online in Oakley.ca a few weeks ago i ordered it with out hesitation.. Its the revolution of aviator sunglasses and its far more than beautiful than the original aviators of Ray Ban.. the only thing is its kinda look soft on the hinges,i must say that be extra careful when using it and buy a hard case for them you dont wanna break a 200$ Oakley.. The Chrome iridium lenses are very cool especially on a direct sunlight the beauty of the sunglasses will really pop up..for the frames they are not as comfortable i mean they dont have that grip like the similar models inmate, probation and cross hair..

Frame: black/red
Lens: 00 black polarized
These are my 6th pair of Oakleys and my favorite by far. they're much lighter then my INMATES and look better too. The new 00 polarized is awesome. My favorite lenses were the VR28 polarized until these. All in all perfect. However i agree with the other dude about the unobtanium on the stems.
