In case anyone didn’t already know these are all on Oakley site now. And all coupons work for them as well.
The bag is from the Eyeshade era (the latter portion, as cotton bags came first). The nosepiece is from a Blade/RazorBlade, since early M Frames would have a point in the center, and Zeros/SubZeros would be more rounded instead of that flatter front size.
As for the box, it might be a riser that goes within a box, which would hold things like the bag and other accessories so the glasses can be displays but all the other stuff is tucked away. I know the re-released Frogs in 2009 did it that way, but intact original boxes are hard to come by, so firsthand knowledge is scarce. There isn't much in the way of official photos of the packing materials, and the past few decades have provided ample opportunity for original contents to get mixed up quite a bit. - Dann
Thanks Dan - you sent me in the right direction and I found these. My blades from a long time ago. The accessory box is, in fact, from them and also all the contents, nose piece, bag and straps also go with them. I have them back together again now. SUPER.
Just starting out here and this is my first post. Sorry made a bit of a mess of it already
I have been going through my collection to detail everything and I found this old plastic Oakley case and inside was a lanyard, nosepiece and this old oakley sunglasses bag. A pair of frogskins were near the box so I thought everything went with them but quickly realized it is much older than that.
Does anyone know what the soft bag, nose piece, lanyard would go with and also where would the case have been from or perhaps it was just to hold these accessories. Maybe eyeshades?
