I wanted a finish as similar to the original.

I have owned oakley romeo 1s for 20 years. These have small scratches on the frame.
I wanted to know if the adonization of the metal is indicated, painting or on the contrary doing nothing.
Would any of these techniques affect the structural strength of the frame?
Would the value of the glasses go down?
