Been an Oakley owner for many years. Still own my first purchase, a serialized plasma Juliet JEXXXXXXA which I just got back from Oakley after a full tune-up. Recently purchased a serialized Juliet Ducati second gen. Also got from Oakley new very hard to find new lenses for my Water Jacket. I now own 12 pair, have sold many in the past 2 months, and trying to sell some more of my later models, to add some of the X-metal classics to my collection (X-Metal, Romeo 1, Penny, X-Squared). However, I use my pairs. No point to have them on a shelf.

I understand that X-Metal comes from the actual material which is titanium base and not alloy. That's why I researched what the Badman was made of and was surprised that they are even included in the "X-Metal" family. I own a few real classic X-Metals.

Does anyone know why the Badman is considered an X-Metal? I understand the frame is O-matter. They're OK, but I prefer the Juliet and all the classic X-metals by far (X-metal, Juliet, Romeo, X-squared, Penny).
Cheers

I use that ID in various sites. Oakley forum, here, and a few others. I lived in Seattle and San Diego, now in Miami.
