I know there already is a music section on the board. But well, not really much is happening there... So I thought it was a great idea to see what the most O lovers actually listen to.

One of the other bands that completely amazes me is Epica. Can't ever get enough of them.
Also the more folk like metalstuff such as ensiferum and wintersun is turning many rounds in my cd player.

Besides that bands like Amon Amarth and Children of Bodom do the job for me also very well. But female fronted metal stays the most popular for me.

Also really worth checking out is the German band Haggard, it is a mix of real classical pieces with metal, grunts and sopranos.

I guess I'm kinda "old school" when it comes to music, in that I like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Rage Against the Machine, and Tool. I just recently got back into Alice in Chains. I'm also into prog rock, ie Rush and Riverside. The only Euro Metal bands I like are Rammstein and Type O Negative.

Tool is a great band indeed :)

My musical interested are very eclectic. I love 90's bands like third eye blind, Matchbox 20 ect, as well as early 90's music like nirvana and pearl jam which were mentioned earlier. I listen to a lot of rap music, jay-z being my favorite. I also enjoy a lot of acoustic music. I love the band taking back sunday as well as some other music along that genre. Quite honestly I dont have a musical preference. I listen to everything and anything that sounds good to me.

Type O is from Brooklyn, NY. But I guess their gothic sound comes off as European. Jules, do you like Lacuna Coil, she's an Oakley fan too.

Lacuna Coil never really did it for me. Actually most Italian bands... Most bands I like are German, Scandinavian or Dutch.
But it is great to see that Christina is an O lover, a quick google also presented me a picture of her wearing O's :D

It does get old fast. Symphonic metal for me is seeming to all sound alike. Sirenia is good though.

I'm more into Doom/Death/Black metal. Pretty much keep it to the local scene at this point, but I also like Industrial to a degree and some trance if it's not too repetitive and/or full of samples.
