So, I'm weird in my Grails. I like Dopp Kits, never-very-popular frames or colors, and umbrellas. Don't ask me why. I just happen to have weird fetishes in regards to Oakley. Oakley has re-released their Golf Umbrella, and for some weird reason, you can only find it on the site if you are specifically googling it. If you type it in on Oakley, you get a whole range of stuff, but not the Ellipse. Even if you follow the "directions" in the product tree, you can't find it. Anyway, here's the link:

Very nice, Nik. Out of all of Oakley's umbrellas, the camo is by far my favourite. Then the Thumbprint.

Lake and I got one years ago at the rolling O in Chicago at the NHRA races in Joliet. Yep - we all met up and spent the night in Romeoville - then went to Joliet for the races - I kid you not. Howz that for kismet? Same weekend we both walked out of an O store with a Bob torso.

I was paranoid they wouldn't let me take it on the plane. When I asked they were like - "well yeah - it's just an umbrella."

To which I thought - I can impale 3 people at a time with this, 6 through the neck lined up in the isle, but a fingernail file is illegal? NICE!

Def not for sale but thanks for the kudos guys. I love the odd stuff like most f us - and yes - I'm one of those that saves the boxes, tags, bags etc. etc... I save the sock covers. If it has an O on it - I keep it. Sick really.

Anyone have a problem with this umbrella not having exhaust vents (don't know what the proper name is)? I'm just a little worried with how large it is that a good gust of wind and poof it's inverted and I'm pissed.

NEVER had a problem with mine.
Exhaust (I understand what u mean) is very well done.
It's like there are two layers, you know.
(at least on the night camo one - maybe you're referring to the other single-layered ones?)

Plus, the number of attachments underneath that tie everything to the shaft...I tell you: bring on the tornado!

i happen to have the static o one and it also has two layers. bernoulli's principle at work right hehe!

Just got mine today. The thing is beefy. Very light, very strong, and it's huge. Damn, now I want another one, because I'm going to use this one.

So the only way I can display my umbrellas is in a golf bag with the handle sticking out. Can anybody confirm if there is another type (not color way) out there aside from these three?

Yes, those are the only three style of handles on Oakley umbrellas. Only styles as you have mentioned. There is one other colourway of handle for the Fairway umbrella.
