A little over one day left in the LS C6. Place your bets on the ending price now.

I know at least one OR member has put a large bid in, so we'll see it can be pulled into a member's collection.

Can anyone remember what the Lance Armstrong 18k gold M Frames sold for back in 2005

I think it was something like $17k (could've been $13k...can't remember exactly). It was in 2007. I wanted to bid, but the price jumped quite a bit in the last hour.

Edit: I was wrong. This site says it was more than $19k

A little over $6600.00...honestly, I figured it would've gone for more!

It went for a lot lower than I thought it would.

If you mean the one from Italy, then I know the one who got it now... ;) He is a member as well, so there is a new CSIX in the family.

The one with a BIN of $1250 (plus shipping), yes, but not in Italy, it was from AR, IIRC. Congrats if it was someone here!

<Begin gratuitous plug> there is one in the classifieds for the same price!! <End gratuitous plug>

The Italian one went for a pretty decent price. Congrats to the member on getting that one.

Rick was with me at the Sydney launch when I was presented with my C-Sixes he was present to collect his TIMEBOMB 2.
I remember Rick indicating he wanted a C-Six but it had to be a specific serial number that was special to him. Looks like they found that serial number for him.
Sorry cant remember what that number was.

Oakley lists the Berlin O Store as one to receive both C Sixes.

ok, the oak store in berlin is the only address in germany to get elite stuff ... i think they got only one C-SIX from each model ...

the C-SIX is a really awesome sunglasses but i miss one important accessory = a reasonable elite vault!

the x-squared is incl. vault why C-SIX got no vault!?

Maybe Oakley is thinking that no one would wear the C Six outside. So there's no need for a vault - maybe...

But that's a good question. Oak's scientists should think about that.

It took 10 years before an X-metal got a functional soft case. Perhaps in 10 years the Elites will begin to get one as well.

In ten years we have magnetic sunglasses that float in front of the face and not touch it... :)
