I want to use an oakley watch in the gym and for outdoor active use. I do not really like the look of the D.5, D1,D2,D3 preformance watches.

All i really need is to tell time and a second hand.

What watch would you advise using? Or would you use an oakley watch at all.

Blade, Detonator, bullet?
How does the Unobtainium strap handle dirt and sweat aka the conditions of activity.

shouldn't it be the same as the ones in our earstems and nosebombs? well, I would like to know since I have all of my Unobtainium watches sitting on display.

Speaking of watches...I have an old D3 in the drawer and just noticed that the battery is dead. Does the customer service center at HQ (Foothill Ranch) change out batteries?

You should be able to easily do it yourself as I have previously done a few times with my D3...there's a couple of small screws on the back that can be removed with a small screwdriver. The replacement batteries are cheap and easy to obtain from the local department store...hope this helps.

if you are looking for a great watch, get a holeshot!! You can track down the 3 hand models pretty reasonable now. I have the stealth and the gold (which never gets touched since I could never replace it if it got screwed up) and they are great at the gym. Fit well, don't slide all over, and have hands. My warrant works well too, but more costly. I wear my Unobtanium Tanks too...

Yeah for physical activity I'd say the Stealth Holeshot would probably my first pick.

Comfort is top-notch.
Look is killer.

Any Clue what the material is in the buckle of the holeshot unobtanium strap. I never had allergic reactions to metal...until the stealth holeshot buckle. Can't wear it.

they are all stainless steel from what I understand. Odd you have a reaction, maybe stealth will be better since it is coated??
