How much bigger are the new XL lens for the Radar?

The xl lens has 7mm's of more space between the nose bridge and the top of the frame.

7mm is a big difference; I'm not surprised Oakley emphasizes that these are specialized glasses. Check Zappos for some pics:

In fact the Radar and the Radar XL are two different glasses,
so the XL-Lens will not fit into an normal Radar frame...

You may be able to swap out the nose piece of the XL frame to move it to your non-XL frame, but its not confirmed yet.

I'd say for now, make sure you really like the color combo of the frame and lens you select.

I have the Radar XL straight blades and the lens is huge but I find it functional. The lens selection is less so right now.

Is the Unobtainium portion of the nose piece any bigger/wider on the radar XL. If so, would that be interchangeable with the smaller sized Radars? Thanks in advance.

I want to say the unobtanium is not only longer its softer but its been two years since I purchased a pair of Radars.

Radar XL replacement lenses will be coming in the next month or so.

Changing the nosepiece between the normal and the XL Radar is possible, just tried it out...
