Having no luck (sometime ago) swapping my black cross hair frame for chrome frame i've been thinking if its possible to polish up/paint strip my black frames back to the bare metal??

You reckon its do-able?

if it is anything like the old e-wire frames, it will be chrome underneath...I had a pair of the burnt colored e-wires that the coating started peeling off and I found the chrome to be the base...Pull off one of the earsox and scrape it a bit to see, this way it can be covered if not...
