This place is starting to remind me of a jungle. Please add any animals you think apply. Remember this is all in fun.
There are:
Lions: Who think they are in charge and live to bully others.
Toucans: Who love to strut and show off their colors.
Ostriches: Who seem oblivious and lost in their own world.
Chimpanzees: Who always look for an opportunity to cry about their glasses.
Snakes: Who like to turn your post into something other than you intended.
Squirrel Monkeys: Who are always begging for help but never give it.
Flamingos: Who pop in on occasion that create quite the stir. Usually they have the key words as part of their username to let others know their gender.
Rats: The sneaky ones who don’t register but live to lurk.
Cheetahs: Who feel as if they are gifts to the world and should be treated as such.
Elephants: Who always think they are right and don’t want to listen to other possibilities.
Hippos: Who just want to hang out and want things to go calmly.
Hyenas: Who mod their glasses and then cry when it breaks.
Impalas: Who pop in every now and then but don’t stay longer than a post or two.
Zebras: Who love to answer questions and help others. But get mad when anyone else jumps in to help.
Turtles: Who always have that puzzled look. There questions don’t make sense and they really don’t care.
Giraffes: Who are the Fanboys. The one’s who think that they are better simply because they own a certain product.
Termites: Who are too busy to search to see if their question has already been answered before.
Rhinos: Who sit back and wait for the right post to flame. They live to attach.
Toads: Who register for only one or two post which usually turns out to be spam.
Army Ants: Who post whenever possible and just love being part of something.
Butterflies: The ones who only post on the hottest topics. They usually just post to show that they are here.

I think a lot of these are on this board, what do you think?

Found this on another board. :D

I think most of us here are a combination of giraffes and hippos :-)

I think it is right on if you ask me. I am certainly a couple of those animals. That it is why it so important that we stop judging each other and realize we are all we have when it comes to this obession. If we create witch hunts, we alienate the whole. Which is the only reason we should exisit in the first place. A group of collectors with a common goal. Great find and timing.

This a great thread for reflection. When we get pissy and think so harshly of ourselves or others, we can have a place to think about our actions and maybe find tolerence. If we find the animal that reflects us then we find the compassion and our relationship in this forum.

Live in peace or live in pieces. I feel we are in pieces at the moment, but I am incouraged by this thread.

For The record I am a Toucan, Hippo and Army Ants.

Wow George, that was deep. Didn't think of it like that, but you do have a point.

Zac what a great thing to share with this group. You are very thoughtful at a very young age. You have both exposed my ego and strenghten my resolve. Thank you for your insight.

George you did it again.

And indeed, i agree with george, myself have been under the radar. for a while.. My girlf wrecked two cars.. so a lot to pay for, and she bought a new one.. i have been realy slow on buying since i have big plans, i do have a wish list, i do still have some deals pending..

i do miss couple of members here...

I hope you guys missed me.. hehehe.
i know like ollie, bong, etc some others who didn't post for some time, each for their reasons..

i do think we have to stop bashing at each other, and get envy ( and i mean in a bad way ) for some purchase or finds of some members..

and please stop about this whole ebay - o-review name.

again we have talked about this before, every one should know what to do with thier collection.

example. If i want to sell my df1, i would not ask less then 1100, why you asked, i paid 1000 without shipping,.

again, cheers, have a gr8 day, and happy collecting.

I am a few of these animals pretty funny post, I think I am a mix between an Impala, turtle, and hopefully only rarely a squirrel monkey. So what kind of crossbreed would that be?

definitely get some from the members this thread in the wrong way.

but i can remember.....
the time when i was new in this forum and i hit a thread and than a Elephant or Rhino put his reply in....

if you are a newbie it´s not the best feeling to see that the comunity is not so big like the quantity of all members. there are a few member which are sitting on her collection and give advice to the other.
but that´s how it works....
you can´t get pissed off because people are like that.

marcel you hit an other point!
why you should sell your DF1, DF2 or a other rare modell for less than you paid to a other member or on ebay. makes no sense!

i´m here
to learn more about my favorite brand,
to pick up information about the past and what we will get this year,
to communicate with some people which are strange like me,
to build-up my collection and share it with other if i have the time
and after a while maybe meet some friends!!!

by the way... i think i´m a combination of hippo, army ants and sometimes a termites!

last but not least i´m glad to be here in the review...
