Please note that this is not a request for a double-wide display case (or any other display cases), just some information about one.

Couple of questions for those of you lucky enough to have a double-wide (personally I've never even seen one!):
What are the dimensions (width by depth) of a double-wide?
What is the approximate weight of a double-wide?
Any hints about shipping a double wide?

If anybody has ever shipped a double-wide, any recommendations?


I'd love to have a double-wide (and with 70-odd pairs, I could really do with one) but there's no chance I could ever get one in this country so I'd have to have it shipped here, which would probably cost more than the thing itself!

Doublewide dimensions: 72" x 36" x 20" (H x W x D), which accounts for the aluminum siderunners

Triplewide dimensions: 72" x 52" x 20"


Although I have a tapemeasure handy unfortunately I have no scale, so I can't really provide you with the weight. Sorry.

Shipping will definitely be a challenge. It costs quite a bit just to ship it here within the U.S. - I couldn't imagine what it would cost to ship to Poland! Hope you can eventually work something out.

I shipped mine from Europe to the States. By taking it apart, it was easy going. It takes time to take it apart en rebuild it, but it was word it.
