I'm not even sure that the numbers on the boxes even represent production numbers anymore, especially with the O Matter stuff since they restart numberng with each different letter prefix (A, W, etc.).

The old X-metal boxes were dependable since a) You can confirm with the pair's SN, and b) they rarely changed the letter prefixes on the box, so you know it's sequential.
