Is there a difference between the oakley assault a frame and the regular a frame or is it just the colour and lens difference? And I've always wondered how the fan actually works.

Thanks!

glasses with a fan u mean? Ive had an assault goggle once and it came with a fan. The fan actually sucks out the moisture inside the glasses that sweating causes to prevent it from fogging. I hope this is the fan ur talking about

The Assault A Frame has a non-vented lens and comes standard with the helmet strap, which has offset mounting brackets to make it easier for the strap to fit around a helmet. Also, the strap does not have any icons or logos.

The fan goggle, if I'm not mistaken, works by blowing air into the into the goggle to prevent moisture build-up and fogging. Perhaps someone who owns a pair of these can confirm.
