Does anyone know about "OAKLEY EVENT" that they have every year in OAKLEY HQ? I tought they do this event only once a year (November), but yesterday i was haggin' out with my friend (he is a skater sponsored by OAKLEY) said that they do this event 2 times a year, one in May and the other one in November.

Does anyone know if this information is true?

i know it is true, i have seen other members talking about it ;but i can't give you the dates..

They have a "parking lot event" every once in a while but the person to ask here is "Dr Chop" aka Josh, aka "Ifinanceyou", he goes there every week ;) or so, lucky S.O.B.

Yes.. I know they have the event every year, cuz i went ther last 2 years. A while ago a heard someone talkin' about this event is done twice a year, but i never confirmed..

But yesterday i heard again and tought "If it's true i won't miss it" hehe!

So now, i'm just double checkin'!!

Sometimes it is twice a year, sometimes it is not. It is usually invitation only I think.

i thought it's been cancelled this yeah, but what do i know.

I beleive Oakley has decided against the "Parking Lot" sale this month (time frame).

I do remember hearing a rumor that they were going away from this event, because of all the O vaults out there.

I was bummed as well, as I go to all of them in the last 5 years.

There was the same rumor last year, but maybe now, they decided to pull the plug because of all the people re-selling them on Ebay the following week.

That’s what I heard. A case of a few bad peeps messing it up for everyone.

I haven't heard anything, so that is leading me to believe it is done, or for a while anyway. It was very dull last time, and I think that it just got too big for it's own good. It was really inevitable really. They would have the sale, and then the Super Vault afterwards, but a very large portion wound up on Ebay and kind of killed it I think. It is a bummer to think there won't be anymore or a lot less, but they have to take their measures to protect the company I suppose, and they do have the vaults. I would think it to be a better move to have large sales periodically at the vaults to drive more business into the retail store and push up sales there, but it may be too difficult to manage? I was looking forward to another one since I bought my first pair of Oakley shoes there, Polo Shirts, and several other things I would have never thought of buying previously.

Oh, and yeah, I have the laptop, wifi,and all that good stuff!! HAHA...but can only keep up with so many pm's HAHAHAH

Hey Guys, I spoke to the guy that heads up the friends and family sale a couple weeks back.... It will be sometime in the month of June.... They have'nt set the date yet...... I will post the date for you as soon as I find out.......
