So, a few weeks ago the store received a Stretch Riddle (Violet Iridium). I'd been trying to get it in stock for a while, so I snapped it up a few days later.

Anyway, the more I wore it (like today), the more I began to notice that there was actually a weird gradient effect with the lens.

Except it goes sideways in vertical bars...
The center portion of the lens is an orange color looking out, then there are sections that are kinda greenish (think Fire base) on either side. Toward the edge, the color goes neutral, almost to a light gray.

Does anyone else have these? Experienced a similar issue?

Yep, my Riddle and Eyeshade do the same thing. Its vertical because its a toric lens I'm assuming. The G26 lens does this too.

I just wondered since the other Riddles (not to mention M-Frames) I've looked at or worn never did that...

My G26 gets lighter from top to bottom and from the inside out. my +Red is also more "blue" toward the top and fades to gray and I always thought it was odd that such nice lenses would seem so inconsistent, either I got a bad batch or it was intentional.

I think that's THE negative point on oakley lenses with Iridium (especially g26, ruby, fire, violet - I've not had it with Titanium and Gold Ir.). The base teint mostly goes from what it should be (blue, green etc.) to grey. Actually that's one of the reasons why I prefer Emerald and Titanium over the other Iridiums... because that colorchanging experience while looking around is really nasty.

Same deal with +Red, Fire and Old Blue. Always has been to me. Doesn't really bother me that much, and I don't notice it really.

I can see it in some of my lenses but it does not bother me, I guess I got used to it over the years.
