Talk about a sweet use for old school Oakley designs...Way cool to see this, they aren't special sig runs, they are a production glasses from old molds without the logos...

Cool, I've seen those before but I never noticed they have no logos at all on the Earstem. That means they had to make these Earstems from a different mold. Does anyone know if there are any differences in the frames or lenses too?

*unofficially* they are smooth stem straight jackets and the lenses are the same...says XYZ optics and Manufactured By Oakley....

the torch wear saftey glasses are made by Oakley for torch wear.

Carbon X is a material that torch wear helped introduced to oakley.

BTW there is also no need to send an email to torch wear...I hope thats not what you consider insider info.

I was curious to see what affiliation with Oakley you folks have, or Jim Jannard? I am a huge fan of Oakley products and Jim with his drag racing affiliation, but there is a debate out there about the Torch affiliation. Can you clarify if
the only affiliation is with the protective eyewear patents, or is Oakley more involved with Torch and your protective gear and clothing?

Thanks for your help...

There's a passage I got memorized, seems appropriate for this...

Ezekiel 25:17. "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."

What can I say here....QT is cool and all but I'd hate to think he had to fight me for his wallet...and if O releases one - I'll have to be towards the front of the line....
