Heheh, I was just thinking back and remember when I was in high school (94-98) the cool thing was to have a pair of eye jacket (orig. v.1.0) and wear them backwards (on back of your head) during school! Was this ever popular anywhere but here in SW FLorida? And yes, I had the texas tea eye jackets with gold irid before anyone else in my school! too cool!

Yeah, I knew a lot of people who did that. With Minutes, Twentys and Straight Jackets too. Funny stuff.

I never worn my O's that way. When I had to put them away, it always landen in the box. And my prescriptions came up.

i still people put sunglasses on the back of their heads or necks... Oakleys or otherwise they would never stay put on the back of my head/neck, so when i'm not using them they always go back into a microbag.

It's not just an O thing. I've seen it done with many glases. Better than the head and not all glasses can can hang open around your neck like most Oakleys will.

I just saw someone today doing it. I never knew it was a fad. I thought it was just a convenient way of holding onto your shades.

I know it was at least a fad in my High School, I knew people who bought them only to wear them on the back of their heads! And they did it every day, all day...not just to hold their eye jackets....too funny

So I got this straight, do they wear them upside down on the back of their head? Because I saw a guy the other day take them off, flip them around & put them on right side up on the back of his head. I always perch them up on my brow

Yes, we all wore then right side up, just on the back of your head! And I went to school in Naples, at Barron Collier High School!

I dont ever wear mine backwards. I always put hair glue on my hair or gel and wearing it backwards gets the lenses all messed up :-(

I do it all the time with all my glasses. I have pretty short hair so it doesn't hit the lenses. For me it's just convenience(didn't know it was a fad), if it's on my forehead they tend to fall back on my face. I do wear it right side up.

I've seen people do it before. Always thought it looked stupid, but hey, who am I to judge.

All my shirts have pockets on 'em; for short-term storage I put 'em in there, otherwise they go in a hardcase.
