what lens looks best in a coper framed penny. the vr28 blk iridium is scratced and im looking for replacments, oakley wants me to mail them in for new vr28. what are some custom options? any pics would be great.

ive seem on ebay some amber blk iridium polorized but they are pricey. also i think titainium may look good.

Or you can use the oxided color of copper green or patina. Then you would have both color reps of the ore in one pair of glasses. I like the emerald version, more understanded then the G26. In my job I have to work with copper once in a while. Look at the Nortre Dam Cathedral for reference or this pic.

The Ruby looks better than the picture indicates. I would have to shot at an angle that would mirror my surroundings (the camera, me and the rest of the noise in the room). Instead the glasses are reflecting off the light boxes cloth floor. Black and VR28? Forget about it, you already know what that will look like. Whatever you chose you will love it, I am sure. Truly an underated frame and to me the most beautiful with it's patina mate.

it is a great frame on of my favorite. i like the look of the vr28/black but it does not offer bright sun protection. I placed ruby lenses from my other penny in them and it looked ok. i think plain black iridium may look nice. that emerald looks great too, choices , choices, choices,

has anyone tried the amber/ black iridium polorized in a penny of any color yet?

I like the copper frame original. The fire wouldn't be bad though.
