Let me lead into this by saying sorry I couldn't get a picture to help with identifying purposes. I'm not an M-Frame fan, but I think I am still capable of identifying most things I see.

A few days ago a guy walked in my store with a New M-Frame, Joker with Gold Iridium. The thing that stumped me was the lense shape. Either it was a personal cut (which I doubt because the guy said he bought them new and didn't seem to know much about O) or it's a lense I've never seen before. It was very reminiscint of the old Mumbo lenses that actually came back along the bottom edge of the frame and then sloped down to the cheek point. It was very different from the M-Frame lenses we know now that slope down to the outside point, then reverse their slope back towards the cheek. All corners were fairly sharp cut and not flowing curves. Does anyone know what these might be?

Probably an Old Hybrid Lens. I believe some of those bridged the Gen 2 M Frame and the New M Frame before the New Hybrid came out.

That's what I'm thinking. Esp. since it's in a Joker frame. That's been there awhile.

I got an Old Hybrid at work the other day. Weird to see it thrown into a shipment...

I don't recall. I want to say Blue or +Red, but not sure. I think we sold it, since I couldn't find it again.

Some one should link a pic of one from their collection,.... that would help the most. I know it is an original hybrid lens,.. I used to sell then, when they first came out,.. and it was my favorite shaping. Essentially the top of the lens is wider than the bottom right? If so,.. thats the original hyb. :)
