Hi everyone, I was wondering somehing that real bug me.

Hi have a great pair of Gascan sunglasses with the black iridium lens and I love them. I don't only like the way we see but also the way it looks (really dark and kind of mirror). But then I was looking at some goggles with the same tint (the black iridium) and all the ones I've seen are dark but all kind of orange and we can see the eyes sometimes..(we never see my eyes on my Gascan)..I was wondering why and which lens will look more mirror and dark (with no orange tint)

thx a lot

You sure it was not VR28 black iridium you saw on the goggles ?

I know the lens transmission profiles for the goggles are different then the standard eyewear. Also the A-Frame, Wisdom, and Snow Crowbar use a dual lens system, which might be causing some strange reflections or tinting when you look through it from the outside.

He/you is/are correct, black iridium in the goggles has more of a bronze base with the black iridium coating. The reason is for better contrast with all the white snow.

I believe this stems from the old O Frames. It came after grey and was called Black over Persimmon.
