I've been seing news ofd a possible bto for the crosshair. Does anyone have a date of when they are goona put it up? Also what are the possible lens, frame combo one could make. Thanks!

Is there a special OCE frame or lens color Paul? Like the Mettalic Black O-Matter's.

it'd be cool if they demo'd a colorway thats going to appear on the Square Wire 3.0

i dont recall anything special, yet. we may see new things over time but right now there is not really anything special.

the Crosshair has a plethora of colour combos so the possibilities are limitless. wish i could say the same about Whisker though... too bad those aren't in the BTO Program.

I heard tale that only 350 OPDs globaly were getting the BTO program. Is this true?

probably true. just keeping backstock of M-Frames and HJ's is pretty hard. those are the two models we BTO, and they are a pain to keep all frame colors and lens combos in stock. there are at least two dozen HJ lenses and then the XLJs. Even more with the 5 M-Frame shapes and two frames.

oh, and Orlando O-Store didn't have the BTO X-Hairs.

To let ya know the kind of stock needed to fully carry some of the OCE items, we have an entire drawr of Half Jacket lenses, about 7 columns by around 30 boxes in each. And our mframe lenses are on 5 shelves (one for each cut) about 5 ft wide and at least 5, usually 14 of each lens. And we still sell out of lenses, and thats with weekly restock.

lol, I can see that, those kiosks are really small!! Just imagine adding bottle caps, monsterdogs, gascans, fives 3.0, crosshairs, and spikes all custom, the smallest has 6 frame colors and 6 lens colors + 2 polarized options. We have started a wall in the back for just OCE frames, all tubs hanging on metal brackets, currently we have 36 tubs of frames and that does not include the bottle caps or m-frames (they have a different home) and we have yet to add the crosshairs/spikes/fives 3.0, need more tubs!!

Do OCE glasses come with a box & if so do they have different UPC stickers on them?

Yes box, no to UPC sticker. There is a item number for generic combo's, ex- crosshair w/iridium, half-jacket fmj premium polarized, ect. ect. Then on the computer we tell it we are doing a custom (still called bto in the system) and then scan the lens sku and the sku off the bag that the frame was in. That takes care of inventory purposes and the generic combo item was for the price.
