In order to change the temple sleeves on half jacket, do you need a tool? If so, what do I need?

if you mean the Unobtainium by the hinge, NO. what you need to do is take the arms off, and they're really easy.

Just hold the stem near the hinge (while extended) and twist inward clockwise for the right, inward counterclockwise for the left.
