do polarized rx lenses come with polarized etched in the left lens or just the O.

Or hold it at a right angle to another polarized lens and try to look through one through the other. If you only see black, it's polarized.

if two lenses are polarized and you hold them over each other (with the filters at right angles, rather than the axis of the lens) they will black out. usually, you have to rotate the third lens to get the full effect.

Really? It should be completely opaque. Try it with an LCD watch.
