I've been a Jordan/Sneakers collector about as long as I've been an Oakley Collector. I don't even want to think about how much I've spent.

For those of you with spouses: what does she/he think about it?

I find myself sneaking in packages all the time and just act as if it had been in the house the whole time.

I share your admiration for 'Air'. I do the same thing with Oakley stuff-I just quietly add it to the collection, and brace myself for the storm. Here is a prize piece from my collection that bridges the gap between both worlds-an Oakley metal business card with a familiar name you might recognize and appreciate...

heh... i know for a fact there's several Jordan collectors in here, but i won't name names.

I once saw a guys collection of over 100 boxes of 'Airs'. They guy told me it was his retirement plan.

I don't know about collecting - all the Jordans I buy I generally use and abuse.

Currently trying to get my hands on the 18.5 Jordans (IMO the best looking "modern" Jordans) and it'll be a few more years before the get retroed.
