You all know the ruby, emerald and leather mars. And you saw the ice lenses on ebay... I were searching for a emerald one, but now I owned this beauty (yeah, you can call me * censored*):

There are retaining clips but you're right, there is more space then on most other mars.
The seller I got this mars from said it is new, from a optician sell-out.

On the Mars box is written: "O RX Technology"? A RX Mars?

(yeah, you can call me FP2):
You'd need more than just a customized Mars to become FP2. Nice catch, though!

It's very well possible to be an RX Mars. Should have prescription lenses, however.

So, you're the one who won that auction on ebay-germany. I was checking it out but got tied to a meeting and at the same time my PDA's battery went low that I didn't got a chance to enter my bid.

Great to see it went to a member.

I'm not sure how the lenses are exactly called, they seem more orange than persimmon. I wonder that the id of usual mars is 04-103 - 04-108 but this mars has 06-173. How come?

I don't have that SKU in my database, so it could be new. Hmmm

I think the 06-173 number represents Rx, which is why we don't currently see it in the database. If we search the DB, the 06 code represents either Rx or M Frames. In this case, since the box says Rx tech on it, it's safe to assume this one's indeed been zero script Rxed.

Nice pick up, BTW. Hope you enjoy it. :)
